Throughout my life, my unwavering passions have been artistic expression and a deep appreciation for people.
Growing up, these constants led me to portrait painting. I loved capturing stories etched on the faces of my subjects, in their skin, and through their eyes.
While studying at NYU, this led me to pursue studies in Business, Art, and Anthropology–a means to delve into the intricacies of human experiences and values.
Interestingly, despite spending years telling the story of others, I overlooked my own. Like so many others, I struggled to come to terms with my transgender identity for years. The simple act of piercing my ears at 20 changed that. Suddenly I was able to express my own story through jewelry.
